When you enter your salary, deductions, marital status, or medical deductible in our calculators, that data is never transmitted to our servers or stored in any database. All mathematical computations run purely in your local browser memory via client-side JavaScript.

2. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)
We use client-side localStorage solely to remember your preferred Swiss Canton so that calculators do not require you to re-select your canton on each page view. No personal identifying information is stored in this key.

Our web servers (hosted in Frankfurt, Germany within the European Economic Area on AWS Lightsail, compliant with Swiss Federal Data Protection standards) automatically collect technical connection data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) strictly for firewall security, DDOS mitigation, and operational telemetry.
